Terms of use
Last updated 12 June 2026
These terms cover your use of Origami. By creating an account and using the app, you agree to them. We have kept them plain.
What Origami is
Origami is a planner. You forward plans to it, and it reads them and builds a timeline of your events, reminders, and things to carry. It uses AI to do this, so it can sometimes get a detail wrong. Origami helps you keep track; it does not replace your own judgement about anything important.
Your account
You need to be an adult to use Origami. Keep your sign-in details safe, since anyone with access to your account can see your plans. Tell us if you think someone else has access to your account. Use accurate details when you sign up, so codes and reminders reach you.
Using Origami fairly
Please use Origami for your own planning and your household's. Do not use it to break the law, to send content you have no right to share, or to disrupt or probe the service. We may suspend an account that is being misused.
The AI, and getting things right
Because Origami reads your plans with AI, it can misread a date, miss a detail, or place something on the wrong day. Every item shows where it came from, and you can correct or delete anything in a tap. Check the details that matter to you. We are not responsible for a plan you missed because an extraction was wrong; Origami is a helpful assistant, not a guarantee.
Your content stays yours
The plans, messages, and files you send remain yours. You give us permission to process them only to provide Origami to you: reading them, building your timeline, and answering your questions. We explain exactly how in the Privacy page.
Membership and payment
Origami is free for the first seven days, with no card needed to start. After that it is one subscription, with no tiers. Members who join early pay the early-bird rate of $12.99 per month, locked for their first year, after which the standard rate of $19.99 per month applies. The price you see at the time of purchase is the price that applies.
On iPhone, payment is taken through your Apple App Store account and renews automatically until you cancel. You manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store account settings, and you can restore an existing purchase from inside the app. Cancel any time; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Apple's standard licence terms also apply to the app you download from the App Store.
Cancelling and deleting
You can cancel your subscription any time, as above. You can delete your account, and the data we hold, from Settings inside the app. Deleting your account is permanent.
Availability
Origami is early software and we improve it often, so features may change and the service may occasionally be unavailable. We provide Origami as it is and as available, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses arising from your use of the app.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date at the top, and make significant changes clear in the app. Continuing to use Origami after a change means you accept the updated terms.
